Strawberries and Sprite

I made this because I wanted to make something that didn't take too much time and wasn't too heavy on calories. It's really easy to make.

1) Cut the greens off of a bunch of strawberries. Cut each in half and put in blender. Blend :)
2) Add some sugar and Sprite to taste. Add more strawberries if needed. You could also add ice if you wanted to. Enjoy :)

Sugar Cookie Decor Ideas

Me and my family decorated sugar cookies the other day. These are just some fun ideas we did:

Corn & Bean Salsa

Really yummy snack when you are sick of desserts! Here's the recipe:

1 can of corn (drained)
1 can black-eyed peas (drained and rinsed)
2 tomatoes (diced)
2 avocados (diced)
Cilantro
Italian dressing packet (dry)

Mix Italian dressing according to directions, then combine all ingredients. You may substitute black beans for black-eyed peas if desired. Enjoy!

German Pancakes

These are super tasty and easy to make! Here's the recipe:

6 Tbs butter
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt

First, preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Place butter into a glass 9x13 pan and place in oven to melt butter. Blend eggs, milk, flour, and salt in a separate bowl. Take glass pan out. Pour mixture onto melted butter, then bake for 15-20 minutes. It is regular for pancakes to curl up and expand while cooking. Enjoy!

Chocolate Drizzled Potato Chips

I have had chocolate-dipped potato chips in the past, but I did something a little different. Instead of dipping in chocolate, I put melted chocolate in a zip-loc baggie, cut the corner off to make a SMALL hole, and drizzled the chocolate over potato chips (spread on a cookie sheet or plate lined with wax paper).

This is a quick and easy way to make a salty, crunchy, and chocolatey snack. I recommend using Lays Ruffles potato chips, original flavor. White chocolate might also be tasty. Enjoy :)

S'more Croissants

These are super yummy! When I made them, they were gone in about 10 minutes and everyone still wanted more! They're really easy: just pop open a can of croissant dough, put chocolate chips and marshmallows inside, and cook as directed on can. Viola! Quick and easy snack!

GLOW-IN-THE-DARK Capture-the-flag

Me, my friends, and my sister all played this last night to kick-off the beginning of summer. It's a super fun game to play at night. All you need is a package of glow-stick bracelets and a place to play.

After you have divided into two teams, each team picks a color. Every member of each team wears the corresponding color of glow-bracelet on each wrist. Make the "flags" using glow-bracelets or sticks so that it is visible in the dark. Use the remaining glow-bracelets to create a boundary line. Have fun!
